Striping DriverPosition Summary:

The Striping Driver should be able to run a Paint or Thermo truck. Must be able to understand blueprints, have knowledge of pavement marking installation, layout, and operation of striping equipment. Must have clean FL driver's license.

Responsibilities:

Drives delivery truck or van to deliver millwork trim, interior & exterior doors, metal & patio doors, stock, and special-order doors to retail facilities and/or commercial job sites
Collects payment from commercial contractors on COD orders. Gathers signature and identification information from store employee at retail locations upon delivery of merchandise. Records these transactions on millworks copy of the delivery paperwork
Follows directions and/or uses a map to locate delivery locations efficiently
Records delivery information on daily delivery record
Treats all Millworks customers with courtesy and respect. Acts as customer service liaison between the customer and the Millworks facility
Listens to and resolves service complaints from customers. Reports service complaints to millwork management if necessary, so that such complaints are handled quickly and efficiently
Assists in warehouse and assembly area with stocking, loading, and organizing materials when needed
Collects and picks up empty containers, delivery trash, and rejected or unsold millworks merchandise
Loads and unloads delivery truck or van, while ensuring ticket accuracy
Ensures that delivery truck or van is regularly cleaned and properly maintained
Performs routine safety check on delivery trucks or vans according to company guidelines
Attends all store meetings and training sessions as required by management
Follows Standard Operating Procedures while carrying out the responsibilities of this position
Attends all facility meetings and training sessions
Understand and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures
Attend all safety meetings
Be sure inventory is taken at the beginning and end of each shift
Make sure all tools are properly secured prior to mobilization
Gather necessary supplies for each day's production
Maintain good health status and flexibility to bend, push, pull, stoop and/or twist
Maintain a flexible work schedule to include day/night shift work with extended hours when necessary
Able to climb ladders maintaining a 3-point contact
Follow daily procedures and directions as instructed by the paving supervisor
Always keep your truck clean
Assist paving crew with various duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience
• Valid "E" driver's license with a verifiable safe driving record
• Forklift experience helpful
• Knowledge of doors, windows and building supplies helpful
• Ability to load and unload trucks; carry at least 100 pounds
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to work nights and weekends
