We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Legal Assistant opportunity with a Personal Injury Law Firm located in downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL. This firm is dedicated to fighting for justice and fair compensation for individuals who have suffered injuries due to negligence. Their passionate and experienced legal team is known for their commitment to client advocacy and their track record of success.
Your specific duties will include:
Assisting in all aspects of personal injury cases, from intake to resolution.
Requesting reports, tapes, videos, medical records, police reports, and other case-related documents.
Reporting claims to insurance companies and communicating with adjusters.
Drafting and sending legal correspondence, including demand letters and notices.
Communicating and corresponding with clients, medical providers, and other parties involved in the case.
Maintaining and organizing client files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing case files and medical records.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a professional demeanor.
Ability to handle confidential client information with discretion.
Bilingual in Spanish or Creole is a plus.
Pay Rate Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
