Gridiron IT is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to support a large Enterprise Environment for a premier government customer. This position is 100% remote.
Duties:
Performs day-to-day activities required to manage data services, such as network design, implementation, and management, to include troubleshooting of complex network issues.
Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff, to include technical and administrative direction.
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience managing data networks, possessing extensive skills and knowledge in network design, architecture, troubleshooting, and management.
Must have experience with Kiwi, DHCP, TACACS, and Out-of-Band (OOB) networks.
Candidate must be a senior engineer with 3+ years' experience on F5 load balancers including the configuration of virtual IP (VIP), health checks, back end server pools, high availability and failover policies, and related configuration.
Additional experience in other load balancer vendors or technology is desired but F5 experience is mandatory.
