Job Summary The Director of Event Operations , reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a Company conference center account. This role requires excellent communication skills, multi-tasking ability, strong team leadership, client relations, and a focus on delivering superior quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees all P&L and budgeting related to the account
Manages daily operations of the account
Performs HR functions including hiring, counseling, and terminations
Oversees scheduling, payroll, and team training
Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests, clients, and other departments
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, hospitality preferred
At least five years of experience in events/conference centers
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience managing a budget
High standards of personal integrity and ethics
Desire to grow within a top hospitality company
