Job Title: Employment Litigation Associate The Washington, DC office of Fisher Phillips seeks an experienced employment litigation associate with 3-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be a case handling attorney with significant experience in federal court.
Responsibilities:
Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings.
Drafting and arguing motions.
Taking and defending depositions.
Managing litigation matters from start to finish.
Working with clients on challenges under state and federal employment laws.
Drafting & revising policies and training.
Qualifications:
Excellent academic credentials.
Strong writing and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Desire for excellence and commitment to team members.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be admitted in DC and Maryland, or eligible to waive-in; Virginia admission is a plus.
