Sr React Native Software Developer
Location:
Greenwood Village, CO (Hybrid; 2 days on-site)
Contract Duration:
6-month contract with potential for full-time conversion
Pay Rate:
$60-$75/hour DOE
Job Overview:
Our Fortune 500 Client is seeking a new member of the team to contribute as a core member on the companys client development team in new feature releases and maintenance of the software architecture. The team has initiated the building of a new mobile application and need a React Native SME to help pick up and lead the rest of the applications build-out.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, integrate, test and deploy advanced client applications on streaming platforms
Develop new features from provided requirements and UX designs.
Perform root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and design spikes.
Solve complex application bugs and improve optimization and efficiency.
Interact with the services team to evolve client APIs.
Participate in peer code reviews and regular scrums.
Provide technical leadership, mentor and contribute to the overall growth of the team.
Qualifications:
Must have: Ample experience with React Native.
BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, other technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years of software development experience
Experience in writing native modules for React Native
Expertise in computer science principles including design patterns, Data Structures Concepts, Software Algorithms, and application memory management.
The ability to detect underlying design methodology in existing code implementation; with emphasis on performance and traceability.
Have a deep knowledge of REST, SOA, XML, and JSON
Media Streaming and DRM Technologyexperience is a plus
Experience with 3rd party libraries and APIs
Experience with SCRUM, Agile, and other development methodologies.
Experience working with Jira and related Atlassian tools.
Other client development experience is a plus.
