The company continues to redefine the beauty industry with its patented Underlash Technology and a customer-centric approach that has revolutionized how consumers achieve salon-quality results at home.Position SummaryWe are seeking a Chief Marketing & Operating Officer to join Lashify's executive leadership team and drive operational excellence in our next phase of growth.
Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, the CMOO will act as a strategic partner in shaping and executing the company's vision.
This role is responsible for translating Lashify's innovative vision into effective operational strategies and overseeing all day-to-day operations of the business.
The CMOO will work closely with the CEO to develop long-term plans, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure that our operations, from product development and supply chain to marketing and customer experience, run smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will bring seasoned leadership, a data-driven mindset, proven success as a Marketing Executive and a passion for scaling a disruptive beauty brand, all while upholding Lashify's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
This is a pivotal role that will influence the company's trajectory and help Lashify continue to stand out as a leader in the beauty industry.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing:
Role will be responsible for putting together the Marketing strategy for the business.
Strong focus in both general and digital marketing experience requiredStrategic Planning & Execution:
Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to define the company's long-term strategy and operational roadmap.
Translate Lashify's vision and goals into actionable business plans, and lead the execution of strategic initiatives to drive growth and scalabilityOperational Oversight:
Oversee all day-to-day operations across the organization - including product development, supply chain and manufacturing, e-commerce, sales and marketing, and customer service - ensuring cohesive execution and alignment with the company's objectives.
Maintain operational excellence as the company grows, proactively identifying and addressing bottlenecks or inefficienciesProcess Improvement & Efficiency:
Develop and implement scalable processes, standard operating procedures, and best practices that enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Continuously evaluate operational workflows, introducing improvements and innovative solutions to support Lashify's rapid growth and maintain our reputation for qualityPerformance Management:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics across all departments to measure operational success (e.g.
supply chain efficiency, fulfillment times, sales growth, customer satisfaction).
Use data-driven insights and regular reporting to assess performance, drive decision-making, and ensure that targets are met or exceededFinancial Management:
Oversee operational budgets and company P&L in collaboration with the finance team.
Take accountability for cost management and financial performance of operations - optimizing expenditures such as cost of goods (COGS), improving gross margins, and ensuring sustainable, profitable growth.
Provide financial analyses and operational reports to support strategic decisions by the CEO and leadership teamTeam Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operational team and department heads.
Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability, ensuring all teams (from R&D and Production to Marketing and Customer Experience) work in unison toward common goals.
Attract and retain top talent, and cultivate an environment where employees are motivated, engaged, and aligned with Lashify's mission and valuesCross-Functional Collaboration:
Promote strong communication and collaboration between departments.
Break down silos and ensure that cross-functional initiatives (e.g.
product launches, marketing campaigns, supply chain improvements) are coordinated and executed effectively.
Serve as a bridge between teams, aligning internal resources with company priorities and ensuring a unified approach to achieving business objectivesGrowth & Innovation:
Identify and evaluate new opportunities for business expansion and innovation.
This includes exploring new distribution channels, partnerships, or markets (domestic and international) that align with Lashify's strategic vision.
Drive operational readiness for product innovations and launches, ensuring the company can scale new ideas from concept to market effectivelyRisk Management & Compliance:
Ensure that all operational activities and processes adhere to industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Mitigate risks by implementing appropriate controls and contingency plans, especially regarding product quality, supply chain reliability, and intellectual property protection.
Uphold Lashify's commitment to excellence and safety across all operations.QualificationsExecutive Leadership Experience:
5+ years of progressive experience in operations and marketing, with at least 2 years in a senior executive role (COO, CMO, or equivalent).
Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, fashion, or consumer products industry is strongly preferred, especially with an e-commerce or omnichannel business modelStrategic and Analytical Skillset:
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning, business development, and analytical decision-making.
Able to set clear KPIs and use data to drive performance.
Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L statements, budgets, and driving profitability while scaling operationsCross-Functional Operational Expertise:
Deep understanding of core business functions - including product development, supply chain/logistics, sales, marketing, and customer experience.
History of implementing processes and systems that improved efficiency and supported growth.
Familiarity with e-commerce operations and DTC (direct-to-consumer) models is a plusExcellent Communication:
Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Able to clearly convey complex operational strategies to stakeholders at all levels and represent the company with professionalism.
Experience working closely with a CEO and reporting to a Board of Directors or investors is a plus (including presenting operational updates and strategic plans)Education:
strongly prefer Bachelor's degree in Business or related fields.

Position will be a hybrid schedule with required office hours in West Hollywood at least 3 days per week
