Title: Radiology Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology
Location: Eureka, CA
Job Type: FTE/Permanent
Under the direction of the Department Director, supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, and in collaboration with radiologists, performs advanced technical diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities using age-specific criteria in accordance with department standards. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff. Participates in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Acts as a technical and clinical role model for less experienced radiologic technologists in the department. Participates in the on-call schedule to support department staffing needs. Travels to off-campus locations to perform radiographic or fluoroscopic procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Graduate of a radiologic technology program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist upon hire .
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working as a hospital-based radiographer.
