An aerospace client is looking for a Software Test Equipment Engineer with Active Secret Clearance who will play a pivotal role in performing software development and hardware/computer in loop design and testing activities for the program.

Location: Chandler, AZ 85286 (Onsite)
Position: Software Test Equipment Engineer with Active Secret Clearance
Pay Rate: $36/hr. - $91.48/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 9×80 A
Shift: 1st Shift
TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports test equipment hardware and software requirements planning, architecture development, detailed design, and integration/startup of real time computer and full hardware in loop test laboratories.
Develops test equipment hardware and software architectures to support real time distorted scene injection into flight hardware, as part of test laboratory development.
Develops GPU software to predict and mimic flight condition scenarios in real time test environment.
Ensures software standards are met.
Work in a collaborative multi discipline team environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

US Citizenship is required.
Active DoD Secret security clearance investigated within the last 5 years with existing DD254 on the GPI program
Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related degree and 6 years of related experience, or a Master of Science degree in a related discipline and 4 years of related experience.
Software development experience in C, C++, C# and/or Java in Linux and/or Windows environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in design, integration and testing with real time computer in loop and hardware in loop test laboratories.
Experience in developing interfaces to support weapon system integration efforts.
Familiarity with 6 degree of freedom simulation systems and integration of 6DoF simulation models into a real time environment for test as you fly scenarios.
Experience IR scene injection into electronics for processing in real time embedded flight firmware/software.
GPU Development experience to present real time constrained scene generation.
Experience working in an Agile framework and team environment. Ability to work with multi discipline team and a dynamic work environment.
