About the Critical Care Unit
Our CCU at North Alabama Medical Center is dedicated to delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients within a 22-bed unit in a trauma III hospital. We foster a culture of teamwork and clear communication to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Your Impact
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a pivotal role in patient care. You will utilize your expertise to design specialized care plans and employ cutting-edge technology to enhance patient wellbeing. Be part of our mission focused on improving community health.
Dive Into Your Role:
Perform care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
Document all patient care provided and monitor patient conditions proactively.
Provide assistance with daily living activities and collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and recovery plans.
Act as an advocate for your patients' physical and emotional wellness.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants should possess a current state RN license along with:
Basic Life Support certification
ACLS/PALS certification within six months of hire
Preferred: One year of nursing experience
