Department Overview:
Our post-surgical floor is a well-equipped 32-bed unit, featuring a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, where you will provide care for patients recovering from various surgeries within the first two days post-operation.
Your Role:
As a registered nurse, you'll play a critical part in delivering exceptional post-operative care. Utilize your nursing expertise to implement plans of care, innovate patient care strategies, and utilize advanced technology to support patient health and recovery.
Qualifications:
To be a part of our team, you should meet the following requirements:
Current RN license in Alabama or an active Compact RN License
Associate's Degree in Nursing
1-2 years of nursing experience is preferred
Must obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within 90 days of hire
Responsibilities:
As an RN, you will provide immediate recovery care to post-operative patients, following the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure optimal individual patient care.
