General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Providetechnical leadership and guidance to project teams involved in waterand wastewater infrastructure projects.Collaboratewith engineers, designers, and other technical specialists to developinnovative solutions and address project challenges.Ensureadherence to engineering standards, specifications, and best practicesthroughout the project lifecycle.KnowledgeManagement:
Develop and implement knowledgemanagement strategies to capture, organize, and disseminatetechnical expertise, lessons learned, and best practices.Establish repositories, databases, and platforms for storingtechnical documentation, design guidelines, and projectdeliverables.Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions,workshops, and training programs to transfer technical knowledgeand skills to project team members.CapacityBuilding:
Identify competency gaps and trainingneeds within the project team and develop tailored learning anddevelopment plans to enhance technical capabilities.Mentor junior engineers and guide technical aspects ofproject execution, including design, construction, andcommissioning activities.Facilitate cross-traininginitiatives to promote interdisciplinary collaboration andknowledge exchange among team members.QualityAssurance:
Implement quality assurance processesand review mechanisms to ensure the accuracy, completeness, andconsistency of technical deliverables.Conducttechnical reviews, audits, and assessments to validate compliance withproject requirements, specifications, and industry standards.Technical Governance:
Establishtechnical governance frameworks, standards, and guidelines to governthe execution of water and wastewater projects.Monitor project performance metrics, key performanceindicators (KPIs), and technical benchmarks to track progressand identify areas for improvement.StakeholderEngagement:
Liaise with internal and externalstakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, andtechnical partners, to address technical issues, resolveconflicts, and foster collaboration.Communicatetechnical concepts, project updates, and technical risks tonon-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum of 8+ years of experience.Bachelor's Degree in IT or Engineering.StrongKnowledge of Technical related to infrastructure and DB's, networkback-group.Experienced in change management andtechnology enablement.Familiarity with Oracle productsfor Capital Projects, Procurement and Finance.
