What are you going to do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend solutions using Java 21+ and Spring 3+, applying strong programming principles.
• Contribute to the development of scalable microservices, ensuring high performance and maintainability.
• Work in a modern DevOps environment, collaborating on deployment pipelines and infrastructure using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud platforms.
• Implement secure features, contributing to authentication and authorization mechanisms when needed.
• If applicable, collaborate on projects involving Adobe Experience Manager, supporting content-driven development.
• Use Kotlin in development, either alongside Java or as part of key modules.
• Work remotely from anywhere in Portugal, integrated in an agile and collaborative team.

What we are looking for:

• Solid hands-on experience with Java 21 (or at least Java 11+) and Spring Framework 3 or higher.
• Strong understanding and application of programming best practices and design principles.
• Mandatory experience with Kotlin.
• Proven experience working with microservices architecture and related tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Cloud).
• Familiarity with security implementations, especially authentication and authorization flows.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.
• Autonomy, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in distributed teams.
• Proficiency in English (B2 or higher), both spoken and written.
• Based in Portugal with full-time remote availability.
