Senior Software Engineer (QA | Security)  The PowerStore Security Engineering Team drives the development of next-generation security solutions to protect data storage systems in an ever-changing threat environment.

What you'll achieve As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer's business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.You will:
Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments  Lead the implementation of testing strategies to evaluate device performance, reliability, and functionality  Develop and automate tests based on project requirements and maintain existing tests to ensure continued relevance and accuracy Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and QA engineers, to align testing activities with project milestones and deliver high-quality products Take the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
Here's what we are looking for with this role:
Essential RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on test development and automation Proficient in Python and other scripting languages with extensive experience in developing automated tests and test frameworks on a Linux platform Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to varied audiences Hands-on experience with storage technologies or storage devices/systems Desirable Requirements Experience with security principles such as Threat Modeling, Fuzz Testing, Penetration Testing, Data Protection and Encryption Familiarity with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks, such as Jenkins or similar BenefitsOur people are the most critical component of our long-term success, and their health and well-being are our priority.
