The role:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive sits within Brand & Food Marketing team and works closely with our category & sales teams, agencies, and marketing colleagues.
The successful candidate will support the Marketing Manager with the activation of events and communications for customers and sales, manage and update the annual brand & food marketing calendar, develop social media content for key campaigns, monitor and report on campaign performance, provide competitor analysis, and support the wider team in day-to-day marketing administrative support such as the recording of team spend against budget.
They will need to have experience of running projects, co-ordinating activities, working with stakeholders, monitoring campaign performance, with an understanding of social media and key digital metrics.

Co-ordinate the activation of events for customers and sales both online and face-to-face
Develop launch materials for customers, sales, and training
Create the annual brand & food marketing calendar, keeping it up to date
Create high-impact copy and content for email and social media to support key campaigns
Support the activation of seasonal activities (i.e - Christmas)
Monitor and track team campaign performance
Work closely with all teams including category, sales, internal communications, social, agencies and the wider marketing team
Record and track team budget spend
Deliver activity on time and within budget

Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate the activation of twice-yearly online or face-to-face customer and salesforce events, working with agencies, category, and suppliers to:
Create a seamless event flow experience
Manage delegate registration systems (registration form set up, data and reports)
Produce high-quality and relevant content for stands, sales, training materials, and email & social media including set up, copy writing, and data
Create & analyse online surveys
Track and report on performance & KPIs
Produce campaign-specific written content for social media, email, website, and video
Work with in-house creative team and independently to create graphics for social media, email, website, and video (experience of using Canva would be advantageous)
Develop social media strategy to support key campaigns and create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc (experience with paid for advertising is desirable)
Develop and co-ordinate salesforce materials and communication
Monitor, track, and report campaign performance
Produce competitor analysis
Day to day recording of team spend against budget
Monitor market and marketing trends to provide insights into the development of our events and communications
Work cross-functionally to ensure activity works for commercial, customer, category, and sales

Required skills and competencies:

Experience of co-ordinating events and on and offline communications
Organised and methodical approach
Ability to prioritise, manage deadlines and work under pressure
Creative flair, with good verbal and written skills
Experience of creating content for social (paid experience desirable)
Confident relationship builder
Good analytical skills, with an understanding of key social and digital metrics
Ability to contribute to briefs to assist in the planning and creative process
Experience of monitoring campaign performance and collating reports
Experience of working cross functionally in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects and activities
Excellent attention to detail
Commercial awareness
Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel / PowerPoint)

Canva, or similar
Paid social
Budget recording and tracking
B2B experience
Experience of foodservice or hospitality
