Desk Operation Supervisor

Overview
This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP.
Under the general direction of the Desk Operations Manager, the Desk Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising the day-to-day operations of the Desk Operation Coordinators and Emergency Services Dispatchers.
Works in close coordination with the Provost Marshall Office (PMO) to create a continuous flow of information regarding emergency and non-emergency events involving Military Police, Fire and Emergency Services.
Responsibilities
This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
Responsible for supervising the Desk Operations Coordinator in the process and recording of incidents and offenses on Military DA and FM forms.
Responsible for supervising the Desk Operations Coordinator when monitoring fire alarms, installed alarms, intrusion detection, vehicle tracking, and Closed-Circuit Television Systems (CCTVs), and coordinate for Law enforcement, Fire, and EMS response upon activation.
Responsible for supervising the Desk Operations Coordinator when answering and processing 9-1-1 and non-emergency phone calls via landline, VoIP, WhatsApp, or cell phone.
Responsible for supervising the Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement of Computer Aided Dispatch System (CAD) entries.
Responsible for supervising the Desk Operations Coordinator when making emergency notifications IAW notification matrix provided by the USG and ESD Notification matrix.
Responsible for supervising the Desk Operations Coordinator when dispatching appropriate emergency response.
Desk Operations Supervisor shall be competent in the operation of the Army Law Enforcement Reporting and Tracking System (ALERTS), Military DA and FM forms, Emergency Reporting System (ERS).
Responsible for supervising the submission of completed reports of incidents that are considered security breaches, violations of administrative regulations, or special instructions as outlined in general and special orders.
Responsible for ensuring all equipment, including computer-aided dispatch system and radio system, is operational.
Responsible for supervising the Desk Operations Coordinator in safeguarding evidence until turned over to the PMO Evidence Custodian using DA Form 4137, Evidence/Property Custody Document, which shall be filed for all evidence being held.
Responsible for overseeing the cross-training of Desk Operations Coordinator and Emergency Services Dispatchers.
Perform all other duties and assignments as required or as directed.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma required, AA or BA/BS Degree preferred.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Have a valid US Passport.
Have a current and valid US Driver's License.
Will meet United States Government (USG) security requirements.
Must possess Active Secret Security Clearance.
Hazmat Awareness, Telecommunicator I/II, EMD certifications, preferred.
Knowledge of Military Police Reports (MPRs) IAW AR 190-45 and Crime Reporting Center policies and procedures, preferred.
One (1) year of specialized experience which includes dispatching emergency and/or non-emergency services; operating various telecommunication systems and/or equipment.
Experience:

Must have computer experience and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Skills:

Excellent computer skills required as well as interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

Microsoft Office Programs - Mainly PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is generally conducted with mild exposure to extreme climatic conditions.
Working in a military environment brings the potential for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents.
Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas, but not on a daily basis.
Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, vision and hearing protective devices.
Must comply with OSHA, EPA, and Fire Regulations and published company work rules.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, extended sitting or standing, or other physical efforts that are typically required.
In addition, visual acuity, hearing and speaking requirements would be considered.
