An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance and Capital Project Manager to join a leading food production company based in County Wicklow. This is a pivotal role within a dynamic management team, where you'll drive reliability, efficiency, and innovation across all plant maintenance and capital projects. Responsibilities
Lead the maintenance and engineering function to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to support production efficiency.
Manage and mentor a skilled maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety and performance.
Deliver capital projects from planning through execution, including equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and environmental standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and safety teams to align maintenance and project goals.
Drive automation and efficiency initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
Criteria and Reward
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance and capital project management, ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG.
Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
Proven track record in project management, team leadership, and regulatory compliance (HACCP, GMP).
