Service Manager (Housing)

Location: Newport, Isle of Wight
Hours: 37 hours per week ( plus out of hours emergency call out if required)
Days: Monday - Friday
Duration: temporary for approx. 6 months
Duties:
Leading on elements of Housing Transformation Programme and managing change to enhance performance,
Delivery of responsive, effective and safe services for housing,
Working in partnership with organisations to deliver a consistent service, which meets legislative requirements and maximises available resources.
Experience:
Must have previous experience of managing and delivering services within a multi agency setting including extensive understanding of housing, homelessness and renewal in addition to a detailed knowledge of national guidance and statutory requirements.
Must have a degree level qualification in a housing related area.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, a person centred approach and be able to manage complex and sensitive situations in a calm and proactive manner.
Due to the requirement for out of hours call out, candidates must be based on the Isle of Wight for the duration of the assignment.
Salary: £62.70 per hour worked
