BioNutrica is a premium range of Irish-developed food supplements formulated to support a healthier lifestyle through science-backed ingredients. Having successfully established a strong online presence in the UK, we are now expanding into retail. We're seeking a driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our entry into pharmacies, health stores, and other retail outlets across the UK.

Role Overview

We are looking for a commercially-minded and results-driven Business Development Manager with experience selling into the retail pharmacy sector. The ideal candidate will have an existing network of contacts within pharmacies and health food stores and be capable of securing distribution, shelf space, and in-store visibility for BioNutrica products.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a UK retail entry strategy for BioNutrica products.
Identify, approach, and secure new retail partners including independent pharmacies, pharmacy chains, health food stores, and distributors.
Leverage existing contacts to fast-track listings and establish in-store presence.
Deliver sales presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals.
Manage ongoing relationships with retail partners to drive sell-through and brand loyalty.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support trade marketing, POS material, and in-store promotions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
Report regularly on pipeline activity, sales performance, and market feedback to leadership.

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience in business development or field sales, specifically selling into UK retail pharmacies and/or health stores.
Established network of contacts within the UK pharmacy sector is essential.
Deep understanding of retail dynamics in the health and wellness sector.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel as required.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with supplement, nutraceutical, or OTC healthcare products.
Background in health, wellness, or pharmacy retail industries.
Degree or qualification in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field.
