Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:
identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)Your roleSolution Architects shape and define solution architectures for our clients.
These architectures are used to define project plans, manage detailed design, inform technical risk analysis and support estimation.
We work with a client from the earliest stages of a project through to delivery and 'go live'.
We provide technical leadership and support to the Programme Director or Engagement manager.
As a member of our solution architecture team, you will bring a mix of technical skills, industry insight, business acumen and leadership.
You will forge close working relationships not only with our architecture and engineering teams in UK and India, but also with the many other disciplines in Capgemini such as engagement managers and account executives.
You will take a leading role in both delivery and business development to shape and design innovative, custom solutions for our clients.
• Work on some of the most leading edge cloud-native architectures in development today.
• Take end-to-end ownership of shaping solutions & defining the right architectural approach.
• Collaborate closely with our engineering teams to ensure our solutions are built to reflect your solution vision and make the best use of current development practices.
• Be a trusted technology adviser to our clients as well as to Capgemini colleagues.

We have built an inclusive and welcoming environment, for everyone.Your skills and experience• Excellent knowledge of Google Cloud Platform capabilities for driving transformation and solution delivery• Experience and track record of leading end-to-end design and implementation of Cloud Transformation initiatives (e.g.
application / platform modernisation) using Google Cloud Platform• Experience of working with Well-architected hyperscaler frameworks and design methodology (e.g.
TOGAF / SAFe).• Exposure / hands-on experience of open source technologies and development frameworks (e.g.
Spring, ReactJS, NodeJS).• Experience designing DevOps enabled platforms using containerisation technologies:
Docker or KubernetesYour Security ClearanceTo be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
