What you will be doing

As part of Cencora, Alliance Healthcare is a leading pharmaceutical distributor in the UK.

Employer: Alliance Healthcare, Marsh Barton, EX2 8QW

Shift: Night Shift, 5 days per week, 0000-0800

Pay Rate: Up to £15.82 per hour, made up of basic rate of £11.90 plus night shift premium for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am.

Position Type: Temporary, potentially up to December 2024

Job Purpose:

To accurately sort & distribute orders sent into transport into correct van routes/areas.

Key Accountabilities

Unloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely.
Reloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely.
Safe transfer of load to despatch bay.
Correctly sorting and distribution of orders.
Correct distribution/storage of trays/bins.
Adherence to checking off procedures.
Maintain standards in accordance with Health & Safety policy.
Damages awareness and procedures.
Understanding productivity.
Importance of security.
Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping.

What your background should look like

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Essential

High Visual Accuracy
Good verbal communication skills
Basic written communication skills
Basic Numeracy and Literacy
Customer care

Desirable

Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable

MANUAL HANDLING

It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are 'essential requirements' of this role.
