Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience and location)

Role Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and talented Music teachers for full-time roles starting in September 2025 across the UK. You'll join schools committed to delivering high-quality arts education and developing a strong culture of creativity and performance. Whether you're experienced or an ECT, we'll work with you to find a school where you can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based Music lessons across KS3-KS5 (depending on the school).
Teach a broad curriculum including performance, composition, and music appreciation.
Lead or support extracurricular music activities such as choirs, ensembles, or productions.
Prepare students for music exams, performances, and qualifications where applicable.
Foster a classroom environment that inspires creativity and confidence.
Collaborate with colleagues in the arts faculty and across the school community.
Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and assessment policies consistently and professionally.

Person Specification

Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree in Music or a related field
Recent and relevant classroom experience teaching Music
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of music education
Ability to teach at least up to KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Confident classroom practitioner with high expectations for all students
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable:

Experience leading school concerts, productions or instrumental groups
Proficiency in one or more instruments
Willingness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom
Familiarity with music technology and composition software (e.g. GarageBand, Sibelius, Logic Pro)
