Production Supervisor Shifts : Monday Friday 7am 5pm

Orion are partnered with a heavy industrial manufacturing business located in Morecombe, who are recruiting for A Confident and experienced Production Supervisor to join the team.
Production Supervisor Required Experience:
Knowledge and understanding of welding and fabrication processes
Background in manufacturing ideally heavy industry
Ability and confidence to galvanise a team to maximise productivity within a shop floor.
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Ability to use a variety of tools & equipment.
Ability to read and fully understand mechanical drawings.
Experience working in welding and fabrication would be advantageous but not essential
Ideally will have experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to work confidently with cross departmental teams
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
Manage a team of up to 20 welders in the fabrication shop
Maximise productivity by increasing efficiencies within the team
Motivate the team and push towards reaching KPIs and bonus incentives
Work across multi departmental teams to ensure smooth running of production
Mentor the team
