What we look for?

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to manage the SDLC, from planning and prioritizing to testing and rapid delivery.

100% remote position for people located in Spain.

⚙ Key Responsibilities:
• Joining an Agile Scrum team responsible for the BaaS APIs of the organisation, to build APIs that can handle thousands of requests per second in a reliable and performant way.
• With numerous features in the pipeline, you will be continually challenged and learning as part of a collaborative, technology-driven team.
• Working with a modern tech stack including Java 17, Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all developed software.
• Mandatory requirements:
• A Software Engineering background with strong proficiency in Java (8 or higher), with a solid understanding of its ecosystems.
• Familiarity with modern enterprise frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
• Proficient in developing microservices.
• Skilled in writing autonomous, service-oriented RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience working with Kafka, Docker & Kubernetes.
• Proven experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficient in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• English C1 /+

Nice to have:
• Experience working with event-driven architectures or messaging solutions such as Kafka.
• Knowledge of core banking, such as customer and product information
