We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Project Director to take the lead in transforming a major CAPEX project into a well-oiled machine. You will be the driving force behind project control, procurement, and change management for one of Denmark's most ambitious industrial expansions. This is a unique opportunity to shape outcomes, build structures, and drive data-based decisions that will leave a lasting impact on the organization.

The Mission

This role is about turning complexity into clarity. You will sit shoulder-to-shoulder with the Project Executive, with the responsibility of ensuring project services run efficiently, effectively, and with clear data-driven control.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Control & Oversight: Own and execute best-in-class cost, schedule, and risk management processes.
• CAPEX Execution: Contribute to planning, tracking, and controlling capital expenditures for several projects exceeding billions of USD.
• Leadership: Lead and inspire a diverse team of 25+ professionals (including contractors), with a focus on knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
• Change Management: Build robust change control systems that integrate seamlessly into project execution.
• Procurement & Tendering: Drive external supplier relationships, tender processes, and contract awards.
• Reporting: Develop and deploy reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Risk & Trend Analysis: Identify risks early, analyze project trends, and provide mitigation strategies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with general contractors, sub-contractors, and EPC partners to ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Governance: Ensure reporting, procedures, and governance are standardized and compliant.

The Ideal Candidate

• MSc. in Business Administration, Finance or Life Sciences (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of experience in Project Controls and Project Services .
• 5+ years of senior leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing large CAPEX construction projects (preferably within regulated industries).
• Strong track record of driving data-led decision making and developing reporting structures.
• Strong command of procurement, contract management, and change management in large construction settings.
• Experience building efficient structures and processes from the ground up.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
