Sales and Logistics Manager
Vectra Heavy Haulers is a rapidly growing open-deck transportation company, and we are looking to add a high-impact operational manager to our team to help us continue our commitment to providing a premium and reliable service to our customers and drivers.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming sales opportunities, coordinating logistics, and developing relationships with customers, drivers and carriers.
Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring timely and efficient movement of freight while maximizing profitability and service quality.
Hybrid work model at our office in Calgary with 2-3 days in office per week with the flexibility to work remotely or from home.

Freight Monitoring:

Monitor load boards for new freight opportunities, acting promptly on those well-suited for our capacity by contacting posted contacts to establish terms for shipment movement.

Collaboration with Sales:

Work closely with the sales team to determine the best strategies for moving customer freight efficiently.

2 Years experience in open-deck transportation operations or dispatch and familiarity with freight brokerage, load boards, and transportation logistics.
~ Ability to manage and minimize risks associated with ambiguity.
~ Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, TMS, and CRM systems).
~ Ability to complete tasks independently and remotely.
