We are looking for a talented Android Developer to design, develop, and support new TV client applications for Android TV device platforms

Qualifications Here's how

The Android Developer role has a combination of client architecture experience and application development skills, as well as the ability to simplify and document complex solutions to guide other client Android developers with application development, delivery and support.
Develop and support our next generation of Android TV clients enabling new features on our leading TV services across multiple device platforms.
Translate business requirements into cost effective technical solutions.
Provide direction for the integration of third-party cloud components and APIs.
Enforce standards and best practices for client architecture and development.
Act as adviser on Android client development to internal and external stakeholders.
Manage technical risk: Understand and articulate the impact of architecture decisions.
Identify opportunities for architectural improvements considering current industry landscape.
Have a hands-on and mindful approach to complex challenges.
Mentor and train other developers.
You're the missing piece of the puzzle with these skills:

3+ years experience designing, developing and supporting client applications for Android mobile and/or Android TV device platforms.
Strong Android development experience on both Kotlin and Java.
Experience with TV and/or video applications.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical details in a business context.
Strong willingness to learn new technologies on the TV space.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Great to Have:

Experience developing Android TV custom launchers and Operator Tier services
Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform
Ability to design and build CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions)
Experience with public cloud (Google Cloud, AWS).
Experience with analytics tools like Conviva, Dynatrace, New Relic or Adobe Analytics.
Presentation skills to business and technical audiences.
