Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Category Manager Customer Experience, Procurement, the Category Lead will work closely with business partners and colleagues to support the strategic direction of the team. Your tasks will include establishing commercial arrangements, leading sourcing events, analyzing data, and managing contractual documents aligned with strategic objectives. Your efforts will help advance Procurement's role as a trusted advisor, optimize spend, and drive best practices and future-focused strategies.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to meet business needs.
Execute sourcing events and evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery, and innovation.
Negotiate contracts for favorable terms.
Develop supplier programs for continuous improvement.
Analyze category spend and contractual data.
Create and execute category strategies and foster supplier partnerships.
Guide business partners on procurement best practices and strategic insights.
Manage supplier issues and disputes, including negotiations and settlements.
Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and automation in procurement practices.
Implement ethical procurement, social responsibility, and sustainability initiatives.
Act as an internal consultant on sourcing, supplier performance, compliance, and risk management.

What You'll Bring

3-5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in telco/media/cable sectors.
Knowledge of market trends and impacts on cost structures.
Experience with services such as Contact Centres, Credit Operations, Collections, Sales, Banking, or Back Office.
Strong relationship-building and business acumen.
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to executives.
Ability to handle ambiguity and resolve conflicts.
Resilience and a solution-oriented mindset.
Collaborative work style and stakeholder engagement skills.
Motivated self-starter with quick learning ability.
Experience in negotiations and analytical problem-solving.
Adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project.
