Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading, managing, coordinating, and implementing the daily janitorial services scope of work at all store or site locations within the designated area or territory, across multiple customer banners.

Customer experience & retention
Performance of partners & cleaners
Overall store operations (including budgets, profitability, & KPIs)
Quality standards & audits
Training
Cost management
Increasing revenue & profits per store and customer banners
Adherence to United & customer processes, policies & guidelines
Support to other area managers as required

Planning & Budgeting

Participate in the development and implementation of annual plans by customer banners (schedules, budgets, sales opportunities)
Implement store-level budgets
Develop short and long-term strategies at store level for sustainability and profitability

Customer Relationships & Communication

Build strong relationships with customers and business partners at store level
Serve as the single point of contact for communication between United and the customer for all services
Address customer concerns and provide timely solutions
Support regional management in meetings with key stakeholders
Conduct regular meetings and reporting on store audits, issues, and compliance
Lead or participate in store transition meetings with new customers

Internal Communication

Coordinate store-level communication with United Partners
Set expectations, provide training, coaching, and mentoring
Participate in cross-functional meetings

Process Compliance

Lead process initiatives and store-level audits
Support process adoption in Salesforce and other technologies
Manage business operations using United technologies
Support operational processes and KPIs
Assist in partner changeovers and material ordering
Conduct inspections and manage escalations
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and badge policies

Cost Management & Controls

Manage store-level revenue and expenses, budgets, and margins
Support operational costing and monitor asset inventory
Implement business transitions in stores
Drive growth through upselling services

Workforce & Performance Management

Co-lead partner performance management with the Partner Effectiveness team

Recruitment, Training & Development

Support hiring, onboarding, and termination processes
Lead in-store partner training and development programs
Mentor and coach partners regularly
Monitor partner performance and implement improvement plans

Education & Experience

Degree in business administration or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in janitorial or similar operational environments
3-5 years in a supervisory role
