Who We Are:
Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) is a joint venture between Aecon and FCC Canada Ltd.
that was selected by Metrolinx to deliver the Scarborough Subway Extension - Stations, Rails and Systems (SSE-SRS) package.
The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC's Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometers farther into Scarborough.
It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough.
The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.
As part of the Scarborough Transit Connect Team, we are looking for a qualified Human Resources Administrator to join our team.What You Will Do:
Submit and verify all employee records in the HRIS database (SAP)Collect and file all associated paperwork; ensure proper back up and signatures are on all paperwork.
Maintains and updates Org Chart with weekly updates for employee onboards and offboardsResponsible for submitting salary change forms to payroll and total rewardsIn charge of investigating and answering employee questions associated with their pay acting as a liaison between the employee and payroll departmentResponsible to ensure employees are enrolled in the benefits program and submit any associated documentation needed to the pension and benefits departmentCoordinate the vacation tracking and answer any related questionsMaintaining and updating highly confidential information on a daily basisSchedule and coordinate Orientations for new hires for all salary and hourly non-union employees Deliver Employee Orientations and Benefit Overviews on an as needed basisPrepare new Employee Orientation packagesSend out all post communication to employee/manager regarding their onboarding informationCoordinate & organize training sessions (booking of rooms, equipment required, materials printed etc.) in all disciplines of training when neededResponsible for filing and maintaining all employee files and HR forms to ensure availability for employee useResponsible to track any promotions, job changes, and other items throughout the yearProvide all employees with Activity Types; provide finance department with standard rates.
Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of Human ResourcesOther tasks as assignedExperience You Will Bring:
Post secondary school education, preference given to those with an HR focus.
Minimum of 1 year' experience working in a Human Resources or Payroll department.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong analytical, mathematical skills and problem-solving skills.
