TD Securities, the wholesale trading subsidiary of TD Bank is seeking a motivated and high-performing individual to become a strong contributor in its dynamic technology organization. This senior Business Systems Analyst will report into the head of the Global Equity Derivatives Solutions group. This is a prominent and complex role that will require the individual to interface with finance, operations, risk management, front-office and other technology teams regularly.

Job Overview:

• TDS FSG Technology team is a critical part of TDS Data Platform & Analytics, GED & FSG,

• and Prime Services Technology group covering technical planning, integration, systems analysis, design, development, unit and component systems testing, support-maintenance, and more.

• Our key stakeholders include various project managers representing different interests and projects within TD Securities, Front Office traders, Market Risk Control / Capital Market Risk Management, Accounting, Upstream execution platforms & downstream P&L and risk reporting systems, operation teams, etc.

• Meaningful, effective relationship-building is part of what these highly-skilled experts do best as they work together with technology project managers, delivery partners, business and systems analysts, testing and quality assurance teams, and sponsors.

• Assisting in building a World-Class, Diverse and Inclusive Technology Team for TD Securities, some of our key future deliverable includes:

• Continuing to enhance and build upon our legacy in-house trading system while helping to migrate to a real-time risk and p&l system that utilizes a distributed and robust set of innovative microservices and libraries that interact with multiple upstream, downstream, and front office users

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Actively contribute to projects and book of work to aid technology stream leads within FSG Technology and project delivery team.

• Manage prioritized project deliverables and engage relevant stakeholders to elicit, understand, clarify, negotiate scope and requirements.

• Work with senior developers to develop business and modelling strategies to support business expansion

• Design and implement new models, affiliated analytics and support required to enable trading and associated revenue generation in new product areas

• Adapt existing models in response to market evolution and changes

• Maintain strong knowledge of current innovations and processes and adapt approaches as appropriate

• Work with front office to provide tools required for managing trading, risk management or market analysis activities

• Working closely with release management and development team, ensure that prioritized scope of the application release to production environment is thoroughly tested and regressed.

• Engaging business users and support team to demo and provide subsequent trainings of newly rolled out functions.

• Investigate and resolve any production issues or user inquiries.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

• Fluent in C#, Java and/or C++ with experience on large multi-service repositories.

• Experience with git and github or Azure DevOps

• Strong understanding and knowledge of financial products, derivative pricing, and market risk terminology.

• Previous experience with trading and valuation system technology or market risk management

• Working knowledge of the overall IT solution and software development cycle including agile development methodology and tools.

• Transform business requirement into functional requirements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to think in abstraction and generalization when designing solutions.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables.

• Excellent soft skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders and leverage them to contribute to team's success.

• Ability to read and interpret logs to investigate and resolve any production issues.

Educational Requirements

• Undergrad or graduate level education with focus on business administration, business analysis or computer science.

• Leading industry standard certifications such as CFA, and/or FRM certification plus.
