Le titulaire du poste, relevant du directeur principal opérations, est en charge des volets de planification, production et services manufacturiers afin de supporter l'organisation dans l'atteinte des objectifs stratégiques. Il travaille en étroite collaboration avec les départements de recherche et développement, ressources humaines, informatique, chaine d'approvisionnement, qualité et génie manufacturier, et ce, dans un environnement où les procédés de fabrication sont très diversifiés.
La journée d'un(e) directeur(trice) de production ressemble à :
Planifier les besoins de main d'œuvre;
Mobiliser l'équipe de production ;
Développer les compétences de son équipe en fonction des objectifs fixés;
Collaborer avec les ressources humaines dans les processus d'embauche, de formation et d'évaluation du rendement ;
Maintenir de bonnes relations de travail dans le respect des lois, des règlements de l'entreprise et de la convention collective ;
Appliquer et promouvoir les bonnes pratiques en matière de santé et sécurité ;
Mettre en place un plan d'action afin d'implanter les projets en fonction des priorités organisationnelles ;
Planifier, estimer et assurer une saine gestion des dépenses reliées à la production ;
Animer les rencontres quotidiennes de production et soutenir l'équipe de superviseurs dans la démarche « daily management system » (DMS) ;
Élaborer, maintenir et assurer le suivi des indicateurs de production ;
Établir le paramétrage de l'inventaire « work-in-progress » (WIP) dont il est responsable ;
Diriger l'équipe de procédés dans l'intégration de nouveaux produits et d'immobilisations ;
Soutenir le département de la maintenance (équipement et bâtiment) ainsi que l'équipe de prototypes et gabarits (outillage) ;
Participer à la démarche d'amélioration continue afin d'optimiser les activités ;
Travailler en collaboration avec les autres usines afin d'optimiser son service ;
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'autre usine de métal afin d'augmenter la polyvalence de fabrication entre ces usines ;
Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes reliées à l'emploi.
Êtes-vous la personne que nous recherchons ?
Diplôme universitaire en ingénierie, gestion des opérations ou dans une discipline appropriée ou expérience pertinente ;
Posséder de l'expérience en gestion et mobilisation d'équipes ;
Bonne connaissance des outils Lean ;
Maîtrise de la suite office et connaissance d'un système ERP.
