We're searching for an Insurance Advisor for a 12-month maternity leave contract, with the possibility of extension. Are you seeking new opportunities?

Westland Insurance Group Ltd is growing and has a new opportunity for an Insurance Advisor in Dawson Creek, BC. This position is a 12-month maternity leave cover, with the possibility for extension. If you enjoy discussing insurance and providing exceptional client service, you will thrive at Westland! We seek a career-minded individual eager to grow their insurance knowledge and experience.

Expected Compensation: The hourly rate for this role ranges from $19.62 to $24.52 for a 35-hour work week. Your pay rate will be based on your qualifications and experience, considering internal equity.

As an Insurance Advisor, your responsibilities will include promoting and educating clients on insurance products, managing client relationships, and helping grow our local presence and profile.

You have a proven track record of achieving sales targets
You excel at building authentic client relationships
You are a skilled time manager, discreet, and respectful of confidentiality
You hold an Insurance Broker Level 1 license or are working towards CAIB/CIP (with support provided)
You have 6+ months of industry experience (bonus!)

Provide superior customer service to promote client retention
Identify clients' challenges and act as an advocate by offering tailored recommendations
Assist clients with insurance needs using basic underwriting knowledge
Maintain a curious mindset and seek opportunities to advance your career
