About the Role

Term: Full-Time, Maternity Leave Contract (12-15 months).

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Product to lead their product management team during a maternity leave contract. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic vision, development, and execution of their product roadmap to meet the evolving needs of their clients and industry standards.

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.
• Roadmap Development: Lead the creation and execution of the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market analysis, and business priorities.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor leaders and a team of product managers and designers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
• Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth.
• Customer Focus: Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet user needs and drive customer satisfaction.
• Performance Measurement: Define and track key product metrics, analyze data to make informed decisions, and continuously optimize product performance.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience at a high-growth technology start-up or scale-up.
• 8+ years of experience in product management with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, ideally within enterprise SaaS or software companies.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth and customer value.
• Strong understanding of SaaS technologies, agile development processes, and product lifecycle management.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing product teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Deep knowledge of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs in enterprise software solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Workforce Management (WFM) solutions.
• Understanding of the US and Canadian healthcare landscape.
• Experience in healthcare technology and/or staffing/scheduling.
