About the job:

Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (Automation Platform)

Start Date: Immediate

Position Type: FTE/ Contract

Location: Remote across Canada

Working Time Zone: Eastern Time Zone

Overview:

We're looking for a hands-on Security Architect to lead the technical implementation of key security solutions for one of our major customers. This is an individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives in the weeds of deployment, configuration, and tuning-especially with NetSkope CASB, SWG, and DLP. If you're certified in NetSkope or working toward it, even better.

You'll work closely with security engineers, PMs, and customer stakeholders to deliver real, measurable outcomes across cloud security, data protection, and endpoint security.

What You'll Do:

Roll up your sleeves to design, implement, and optimize NetSkope (CASB/SWG/DLP) in a complex enterprise environment.
Lead technical delivery for projects like Privileged Endpoint Management (PEM), CMDB Asset Integration, and Ransomware Readiness.
Act as a trusted technical voice-collaborating with InfoSec, engineering, and compliance teams to align on security goals.
Drive PoCs, support vendor evaluations, and troubleshoot solutions hands-on.
Help shape best practices and improve operational efficiency through smart security engineering.

What You Bring:

7-10+ years in security engineering or architecture roles.
Strong hands-on experience with NetSkope-especially in deployment, policy setup, and integration.
NetSkope certification preferred (or strong interest in obtaining it).
Solid background in cloud security, DLP, PAM, endpoint protection, and CMDB/asset management.
Great communicator-able to explain technical concepts clearly to teammates and customers.
Comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and getting things done.

Nice to Have:

Experience with tools like Delinea, Wiz, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with security automation, IaC, or DevSecOps practices.
Certifications: CISSP, CISM, Azure/GCP Security, etc.
