Job description
As a Forestry Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing timber development activities, from strategic planning and contractor supervision to environmental leadership. You'll have the opportunity to guide and influence the future of forestry while ensuring safety, compliance, and sustainability in all aspects of the work.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) standards.
✔ Oversee multi-phase contracts, including layout, cruising, ecology, and archaeology.
✔ Manage contractor safety, performance, and environmental initiatives.
✔ Handle planning, permitting, and appraisal processes.
✔ Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, and stakeholders.
✔ Participate in field activities such as cruising, layout, and stream classification.
Qualifications:
✔ Degree or Diploma in Forestry (RPF/RFT or eligible for registration).
✔ 2+ years of experience in cruising, planning, harvesting, or silviculture.
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
✔ Familiarity with BC forestry legislation and industry technology.
✔ Passion for the outdoors and a strong work ethic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
