About the roleJoin our inclusive Mine Planning & Engineering team as a Scheduler Shutdown - Fixed Plant where you will have the opportunity to be part of a high performing, collaborative team.
In this role, your overall focus will be to develop an executable schedule for large-scale shutdowns based on maintenance and life of asset strategy.
Apply Lean Principles to ensure the shutdown schedule is optimised from a Safety, Cost and Quality perspective.
Reporting to the Planning and Scheduling Superintendent, your duties will include:
Developing shutdown schedules over an 18-week period following a disciplined shutdown processDevelopment of efficient critical paths for process plant shutdowns which meet the mines requirementsIdentifying any task interactions that could impact safety and work with maintenance teams to eliminateDevelopment of shutdown schedules that are in line with cost targets/budgetsConfirming all resources including parts, labour and tolling are available for shutdownUse and understanding of key KPI's to measure shutdown schedule efficiencyDeveloping sound relationships with stakeholders to achieve optimum resultsFacilitation of key shutdown preparation and execution meetingsFacilitation of post shutdown improvement meetings and applying lessons learnt to future shutdownsWhat you'll bringTo be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
