Role Overview

Are you a senior project manager ready to lead complex, high-impact technology programs in cloud, cybersecurity, and virtual workspace transformation?

Fusion5 seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee customer-facing projects involving Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Citrix, and security enhancement initiatives. This role is central to our Cloud, Infrastructure & Security division, helping organizations modernize, secure, and empower hybrid workforces.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end technical projects across Azure, Microsoft 365, Citrix, and security platforms.
Oversee all project lifecycle aspects:
planning, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and quality assurance.
Translate pre-sales commitments into detailed project plans and mobilize resources effectively.
Manage external partners, including Microsoft, Citrix, and other service providers.
Ensure compliance with frameworks such as Zero Trust, Microsoft CAF/WAF, and NIST, especially in regulated environments.
Engage stakeholders and communicate with executives across internal and client teams.
Apply lessons learned to improve project outcomes and delivery practices.

Qualifications and Skills

At least 5 years of experience managing technology projects in consulting, vendor, or enterprise settings.
Proven track record in delivering projects in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops.
Strong knowledge of cloud/hybrid architectures, VDI, and security solutions.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects with diverse stakeholder groups.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience engaging at C-level and technical teams.
Experience with structured methodologies like PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or hybrid approaches.
Risk management expertise and experience handling scope changes and customer expectations.
Exposure to Microsoft-funded initiatives (e.g., ECIF, FastTrack).
Background in regulated industries such as defense, government, healthcare, or finance.
Familiarity with security frameworks like Zero Trust, Microsoft CAF/WAF, and CIS controls.
Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, or relevant Microsoft/Citrix certifications.
Understanding of change management, customer onboarding, and training processes.
Australian Government security clearance is preferred.
