Typical Accountabilities

• Developing the skill set of team members – in can making specific; tools for there use; deployment methods for new technologies.
• Ensuring their team members work in a safe way
• Able to present technical content to the business
• Assure projects are run for OTIF and to budget
• Assure team forecasts are accurate and maintained up-to-date.
• Delivery on their own project work
• Involvement in the recruiting process for new team members

• Expected to develop systems, techniques, to improve operational efficiencies
• To gain agreement to the changes, and to disseminate the knowledge to manufacturing locations.
• To innovate new can designs that enable cost reductions
• To prove out the innovative design, sell the design to the operations and to support the role out of those innovations.

• Bachelors degree or higher
• Significant experience in beverage can production/ development and equipment.
• Solidworks
• Microsoft office
• Statistics (JMP or minitab)
• Ability to Travel

• Foreign languages
• Lean / 6 sigma
