Refleksie van ʼn punt

Wanneer jy voor ʼn spieël staan, is die afstand tussen jou en die spieël gelyk aan die afstand tussen jou refleksie en die spieël.( d )

Ons kan dieselfde idee toepas op ʼn punt wat reflekteer word in die x -as, die y -as en die lyn y = x .

Refleksie in die x -as

Wanneer ʼn punt reflekteer word in die x -as, moet die refleksie dieselfde afstand onder die x -as wees as wat die punt bo die x -as is en vice-versa, asof dit ʼn spieelbeeld is.

Punte A en B word reflekteer in die x -as. Die oorspronklike punte word aangedui deur en die gereflekteerde punte word aangedui deur .
Wanneer ʼn punt reflekteer word in die x -as, verander slegs die y -koördinaat van die punt.

Bepaal die koördinate van die refleksie van punt P in die x -as. Die koördinate van P is (5;10).

  1. Ons het die koördinate (5;10) van punt P en moet die koördinate van die refleksie van die punt in die x -as kry.

  2. Die punt P is bo die x -as, daarom sal sy refleksie dieselfde afstand onder die x -as wees. Daarom is y =-10.

    Vir ʼn refleksie in die x -as, bly die x -koördinaat onveranderd. Daarom is x =5.

  3. Die koördinate van die gereflekteerde punt is (5;-10).

Refleksie in die y -as

As ʼn punt reflekteer word in die y -as, moet die refleksie dieselfde afstand links en regs van die y -as wees.

Punte A en B word reflekteer in die y -as. Die oorspronklike punte word aangedui deur en die gereflekteerde punte word aangedui met .
Wanneer ʼn punt reflekteer word in die y -as, verander net die x -koördinaat van die punt. Die y -koördinaat bly dieselfde.

Bepaal die koördinate van die refleksie van punt Q (15;5) in die y -as.

  1. Ons het punt Q (15;5) en moet die koördinate van die refleksie daarvan in die y -as kry.

  2. Die punt Q regs van die y -as, daarom sal sy refleksie dieselfde afstand links van die y -as wees as wat dit regs van die y -as is. Daarom is x =-15.

    Vir ʼn refleksie in die y -as, bly die y koördinaat onveranderd. Daarom is y =5.

  3. Die koördinate van die gereflekteerde punt is (-15;5).

Refleksie in die lyn y = x

Die laaste tipe refleksie wat ons gaan behandel, is refleksie in die lyn y = x .

  3. Die koördinate van die reflekteerde punt is (5;-5).
