Waarom brand ‘n gloeilamp in ‘n stroombaan?


Die elektriese energie word in hitte-energie omgesit en die gloeilamp gloei, want die wolframdraad in die gloeilamp bied weerstand teen die kragstroom. Die gas in die gloeilamp voorkom dat die draad uitbrand. Apparate soos gloeilampe, luidsprekers en stoofplate wat lig, hitte en klank voortbring, bied ook ‘n soort weerstand teen die stroom. ‘n Apparaatjie wat beweging kan voortbring, is ‘n elektriese motortjie.

  1. Bou ‘n eenvoudige stroombaan soos in die skets verduidelik.

Teken ‘n stroomdiagram van bogenoemde skets.

  1. Voeg nog ‘n gloeilamp in serie in die stroombaan. Brand die lig van die gloeilampe nou flouer of helderder?

Waarom? Onderstreep: Die beskikbare energie vir elke gloeilamp word (gehalveer/verdubbel).

Wat sal gebeur as een van die gloeilampies breek?

  1. Voeg nou ‘n gloeilamp in parallel in die stroombaan saam met (a). Skyn albei gloeilampies ewe helder?

Waarom? Onderstreep: (Dieselfde/verskillende) hoeveelheid energie word aan albei gloeilampies verskaf.

Wat sal gebeur as een van die gloeilampies breek?

  1. Toepassing: Onderstreep Die ligte in ons huise bly helder, al skakel jy hulle ook gelyk aan. Hulle kry dus dieselfde hoeveelheid elektriese energie van die kragbron. Die ligte in ons huise word dus in (serie/parallel) geskakel.
  2. Voel aan die gloeilampies.

Voel hulle warm of koud?

‘n Gloeilamp wat brand, verskaf dus nie net lig-energie nie, maar ook -energie.

fullerene is a bucky ball aka Carbon 60 molecule. It was name by the architect Fuller. He design the geodesic dome. it resembles a soccer ball.
what is the actual application of fullerenes nowadays?
That is a great question Damian. best way to answer that question is to Google it. there are hundreds of applications for buck minister fullerenes, from medical to aerospace. you can also find plenty of research papers that will give you great detail on the potential applications of fullerenes.

Mostly, they use nano carbon for electronics and for materials to be strengthened.

Yeah, it is a pain to say the least. You basically have to heat the substarte up to around 1000 degrees celcius then pass phosphene gas over top of it, which is explosive and toxic by the way, under very low pressure.
