Aktiwiteit: om te ondersoek en te skat [lu 1.6.2]

1. Jou opvoeder sal die nodige papier aan jou voorsien. Kyk goed na die diagram hieronder en trek dit dan presies net so oor. Kyk dan of jy jou eie kubus (vierkantige blokkie) kan bou.

  • Jy het nou ’n houer met die volgende afmetings:

1 cm by 1 cm by 1 cm

  • Daarom sê ons die volume van die houer is:

1 cm × 1 cm × 1 cm = 1 cm3

(een kubieke sentimeter)

volume = lengte × breedte × hoogte

2. Hoeveel van hierdie boksies (van 1 cm 3 ) sal jy nodig hê om ’n kubus van 8 cm 3 te bou? (2 cm × 2 cm × 2 cm)

2.1 8 cm3 = (2 cm × 2 cm × 2 cm): ___________________ blokkies

2.2 27 cm3 = (3 cm × 3 cm × 3 cm): __________________ blokkies

2.3 64 cm3 = (4 cm × 4 cm × 4 cm): __________________ blokkies

2.4 125 cm3 = (5 cm × 5 cm × 5 cm): _________________ blokkies

4.8.3: volume/kapasiteit van voorwerpe (deur dit te pak of te vul) ten einde reëls vir die berekening van volume van reghoekige prismas te ontwikkel.
