Krokodille, slange, akkedisse en verkleurmannetjies behoort tot die groep reptiele.

Die meeste reptiele verkies gebiede met warm temperature.

Reptiele is koudbloedig.

Hulle is kruipende diere.

Velbedekking is skubagtig.

Die oë is aan die kante van die kop geleë en lyk pêrelagtig.
