2.1 Hoeveel altesaam sou elke kind die kassier moes betaal, indien hulle die volgende items gekoop het:

  1. Jani het ‘n dagboek en ‘n liniaal gekoop.
  2. Andries het ‘n sakrekenaar, ‘n skryfblok en twee potlode gekoop.
  3. Hettie het ‘n stel potloodkryt en ‘n gomstokkie gekoop.
  4. Mandi het ‘n pen, ‘n liniaal, ‘n uitveër en ‘n potloodskerpmaker gekoop.
  5. Brian het ‘n skryfboek, ‘n dagboek, ‘n skryfblok en ‘n pen gekoop.
  6. 2.2 Hoeveel het al die kinders saam op skryfbehoeftes spandeer?


3.1 In groot winkels sluit die pryse van items ook sente in. Die kassiere vergeet nieteenstaande maar van die een- en tweesente. Die kassiere bereken altyd jou kleingeld na die volgende vyfsent. Indien jy dus 17 sent behoort te kry, gee hulle vir jou 20 sent. Kleingeld word altyd “op bereken”, dit is anders as afronding. Hoekom dink jy dat winkels hierdie reëling het? Verloor winkels baie geld hierdeur? Bespreek dit eers met jou maats en skryf daarna jou antwoord neer.

3.2 Maak asof jy as ‘n kassier in ‘n winkel werk. Die kasregister sê vir jou hoeveel geld jy vir elke klant moet gee, maar jy moet besluit watter banknote en muntstukke jy uitkeer. Jy moet die kleinste hoeveelheid moontlik in banknote en muntstukke uitkeer.

3.3 Onthou dat die kleingeld boontoe afgerond word; dis nie altyd die bedrag wat die klant betaal nie. Wat kry die klant werklik as die kleingeld op R78,76 te staan kom?

are you nano engineer ?
fullerene is a bucky ball aka Carbon 60 molecule. It was name by the architect Fuller. He design the geodesic dome. it resembles a soccer ball.
what is the actual application of fullerenes nowadays?
That is a great question Damian. best way to answer that question is to Google it. there are hundreds of applications for buck minister fullerenes, from medical to aerospace. you can also find plenty of research papers that will give you great detail on the potential applications of fullerenes.

Mostly, they use nano carbon for electronics and for materials to be strengthened.

Yeah, it is a pain to say the least. You basically have to heat the substarte up to around 1000 degrees celcius then pass phosphene gas over top of it, which is explosive and toxic by the way, under very low pressure.
