Die volgende reghoek is eers twee keer, dan drie keer en dan vyf keer vergroot.

Al die reghoeke het dieselfde verhouding vir lengte tot breedte: 3:2

a) Kyk nou weer na die reghoeke hierbo. Gestel elke blokkie is 1 cm by 1 cm. Voltooi die tabel.

4.1 Het jy geweet?

Die verhouding op skaal word altyd in ’n bepaalde volgorde geskryf:

Die eerste getal hou verband met die tekening / plan .

Die tweede getal hou verband met die werklike lewe .

’n Skaal van 1 : 5 beteken die lengte is 5 maal kleiner as in die werklike lewe.

’n Skaal van 5 : 1 beteken die lengte is 5 maal groter as in die werklike lewe.

4.2.1 Gebruik die blokkiespapier en vergroot die skets op ’n skaal van 4:1.

4.2.2 Vergroot hierdie tekening op ’n skaal van 1 : 2.

4.2.3 Verklein die skets tot skaal 2 : 1.

Leeruitkomste 3: Die leerder is in staat om eienskappe van en verwantskappe tussen twee-dimensionele vorms en drie-dimensionele voorwerpe in ‘n verskeidenheid oriëntasies en posisies te beskryf en voor te stel.

Assesseringstandaard 3.8: Dit is duidelik wanneer die leerder posisie/ligging op koördinaatstelsels (geordende roosters) en kaarte bepaal.

Leeruitkomste 4: Die leerder is in staat om gepaste meeteenhede, instrumente en formules in ‘n verskeidenheid kontekste te gebruik.

Assesseringstandaard 4.2: Dit is duidelik wanneer die leerder probleme oplos.

fullerene is a bucky ball aka Carbon 60 molecule. It was name by the architect Fuller. He design the geodesic dome. it resembles a soccer ball.
what is the actual application of fullerenes nowadays?
That is a great question Damian. best way to answer that question is to Google it. there are hundreds of applications for buck minister fullerenes, from medical to aerospace. you can also find plenty of research papers that will give you great detail on the potential applications of fullerenes.

Mostly, they use nano carbon for electronics and for materials to be strengthened.

Yeah, it is a pain to say the least. You basically have to heat the substarte up to around 1000 degrees celcius then pass phosphene gas over top of it, which is explosive and toxic by the way, under very low pressure.
