This module contains review questions and answers keyed to the module titled Itse1359-1260-Loop Modifiers.

## Preface

This module is one in a collection of modules on Python designed for teaching ITSE 1359 Introduction to Scripting Languages: Python at Austin Community College in Austin, TX.

This module contains review questions and answers keyed to the module titled Itse1359-1260-Loop Modifiers .

Once you study that module, you should be able to answer the review questions in this module.

The questions and the answers in this module are connected by hyperlinks to make it easy for you to navigate from the question to the answer and back again.

(Note to blind and visually impaired students: with the exception of two bitmap images that are used solely as spacers to separate the questionsection from the answer section, all of the material in this module is presented in plain text format and should be accessible using an audio screen reader or abraille display. Note however that the required indentation may not be properly represented by an audio screen reader.)

## Question 1

True or False? The code in Figure 1 produces the output shown in Figure 2 .

Figure 1 . Question 1 program code.
```leftDigit = 0 rightDigit = 0#Begin outer while loop while leftDigit<2: leftDigit += 1#Begin for loop for middleDigit in range(1,3):rightDigit = 0 #Begin innermost while loopwhile rightDigit<3: rightDigit += 1if rightDigit == 2: print("break")pass print(str(leftDigit) + "-" + str(middleDigit) + "-" + str(rightDigit))else: print("In else clause on inner while loop")#end inner while loop with else clause else:print("In else clause on for loop") #end for loop with else clauseelse: print("In else clause on outer while loop")#end outer while loop with else clause print("Goodbye")```
Figure 2 . Question 1 possible output.
```1-1-1 break1-2-1 breakIn else clause on for loop 2-1-1break 2-2-1break In else clause on for loopIn else clause on outer while loop Goodbye```

## Figure index

What is the meaning of the following two images?

These images were inserted here simply to insert some space between the questions and the answers to keep them from being visible on the screen at thesame time.

This image was also inserted for the purpose of inserting space between the questions and the answers.

False. The output is shown in Figure 3 . Although the program prints "break", the code doesn't actually contain a break statement. Instead it contains a pass statement.

Figure 3 . Question 1 actual output.
```1-1-1 break1-1-2 1-1-3In else clause on inner while loop 1-2-1break 1-2-21-2-3 In else clause on inner while loopIn else clause on for loop 2-1-1break 2-1-22-1-3 In else clause on inner while loop2-2-1 break2-2-2 2-2-3In else clause on inner while loop In else clause on for loopIn else clause on outer while loop Goodbye```
what is fullerene does it is used to make bukky balls
are you nano engineer ?
s.
fullerene is a bucky ball aka Carbon 60 molecule. It was name by the architect Fuller. He design the geodesic dome. it resembles a soccer ball.
Tarell
what is the actual application of fullerenes nowadays?
Damian
That is a great question Damian. best way to answer that question is to Google it. there are hundreds of applications for buck minister fullerenes, from medical to aerospace. you can also find plenty of research papers that will give you great detail on the potential applications of fullerenes.
