Dit word gewoonlik aangedui as A ' of soms A c en word genoem die 'komplement van A ' of net ' A -komplement'. Dus, as S die totale steekproefruimte van alle uitkomstes voorstel, en A is 'n deelruimte van enige uitkomstes waarin ons belangstel (dws enige gebeurtenis ), dan is die stelling A A ' = S altyd waar, (dws A ' komplementeer A om die totale steekproefruimte te vorm). Dus, in bogenoemde oefening, P ' = { 1 , 4 , 6 , 8 , 9 } , while E ' = { 1 , 3 , 5 , 7 , 9 } . So n ( P ' ) = n ( E ' ) = 5 .

Daarom,

P ( A ' ) = 1 - P ( A )

How bacteria create energy to survive?
Muhamad Reply
Bacteria doesn't produce energy they are dependent upon their substrate in case of lack of nutrients they are able to make spores which helps them to sustain in harsh environments

explain assimilatory nitrate reduction
Esinniobiwa Reply
Assimilatory nitrate reduction is a process that occurs in some microorganisms, such as bacteria and archaea, in which nitrate (NO3-) is reduced to nitrite (NO2-), and then further reduced to ammonia (NH3).
Elkana
This process is called assimilatory nitrate reduction because the nitrogen that is produced is incorporated in the cells of microorganisms where it can be used in the synthesis of amino acids and other nitrogen products
