Aktiwiteit: om 2-dimensionele figure te beskryf in terme van hul verskillende eienskappe [lu 3.2]

1. Bespreek nou as klas die eienskappe van elk van die figure op die vorige bladsy met betrekking tot die volgende:

(i) Aantal sye en lengtes

(ii) Aantal hoeke, soort en groottes

(iii) Aantal hoekpunte

2. Werk in groepe van drie. Kies enige twee van die figure op die vorige bladsy, bv. ‘n reghoek en ‘n parallelogram. Maak ‘n plakkaat waarop jul die verskille en ooreenkomste tussen die twee figure netjies uiteensit. Stal die plakkaat uit sodat die res van die klas dit kan sien.

Beoordeel jul werk op ‘n skaal van 1 – 4 deur die toepaslike syfer te omkring:

Kriteria 1 = Glad nie.2 = Net ‘n bietjie (min).3 = Goed.4 = Uitstekend.
Alle groeplede het aan die aktiwiteite deelgeneem. 1 2 3 4
Lede van die groep het na mekaar geluister. 1 2 3 4
Groeplede het mekaar in die groep gehelp en aangemoedig. 1 2 3 4
Groeplede het by die opdrag gebly. 1 2 3 4
Elkeen het ‘n kans gekry om te praat. 1 2 3 4
Die ooreenkomste is korrek aangedui. 1 2 3 4
Die verskille is korrek uiteengesit. 1 2 3 4
Die groep se werk is netjies gedoen. 1 2 3 4

Leeruitkomste 3: Die leerder is in staat om eienskappe van en verwantskappe tussen twee-dimensionele vorms en drie-dimensionele voorwerpe in ‘n verskeidenheid oriënta­sies en posisies te beskryf en voor te stel.

Assesseringstandaard 3.2: Dit is duidelik wanneer die leerder twee-dimensionele vorms en drie-dimensionele voorwerpe beskryf en klassifiseer volgens hul eienskappe.

fullerene is a bucky ball aka Carbon 60 molecule. It was name by the architect Fuller. He design the geodesic dome. it resembles a soccer ball.
what is the actual application of fullerenes nowadays?
That is a great question Damian. best way to answer that question is to Google it. there are hundreds of applications for buck minister fullerenes, from medical to aerospace. you can also find plenty of research papers that will give you great detail on the potential applications of fullerenes.
