Puget Sound Pipe is a premier wholesale distributor of pipe, valves and fittings in the Pacific Northwest & Alaska.
We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to join the warehouse team at our DC Warehouse in Kent, WA.
This person would be responsible for safely and accurately receiving and storing materials, processing incoming and outgoing shipments and/or delivering complete and on-time orders to our customers.
Hired candidates will be working onsite at the branch location.
There is no relocation assistance available.

Basic Duties:
Safely pull customer orders throughout the day while documenting each stepEnsure that a quality check is performed on all incoming and outgoing materialInspect items for quality and quantity and for any evidence of damageUse a forklift to transport material from its storage location to the staging areaWrap, box and palletize material for stock or customer ordersPlace destination information on packed material and appropriate paperworkProperly document your actions on sales orders, purchase orders and transfersMaintain a clean working area by organizing material on shelves and keeping floors sweptWork cooperatively with warehouse staff to ensure that delivery deadlines are metComfortably lifting all day up to 70 pounds of material into a cart or onto a palletWork outside in all types of weather conditions
Desired Experience/Skills:
Previous job experience working within a warehouseBasic understanding of commercial and industrial pipe, valves and fittingsCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and OutlookPositive AttitudeAbility to multi-taskRequirements:
HS Diploma or equivalencyPass pre-employment drug screenPass Background Check
