About the Role
As the Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will provide leadership and mentorship to your team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care for adults recovering from various medical and surgical conditions. You will partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and customize treatment plans, assist with admission and discharge processes, and provide training and coaching to staff to enhance patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Guide and support nursing staff in best practices and performance improvement.
- Oversee unit operations and assist in staff scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and maintain the highest standards of nursing practice.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License.
- 3+ years of nursing experience in acute care preferred.
- 1 year of leadership experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Current BLS Certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
